Education
Graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Astrophysics and a minor in math. Obtained a overall GPA of 3.19 and a major GPA of 3.31.
Experience
I spent my junior and senior year as a private tutor for over 20 students and an department tutor for over 50 students. In my senior year I became the department tutoring manager, being in charge of hiring new tutors and maintaining order within the center. As well as tutoring, I've also assisted astronomy professors in their night labs for about a year and a half. I've always loved tutoring, because there's nothing more magical and special than seeing a student understand physics and begin to love it as well.
